For those who have been here long enough to recognize fadec’s brand of humor, we can easily brush it off & move on. The problem is, there are enough newer or infrequent visitors who don’t know him by name that most of his posts cause a predictable derailment of the associated thread, which is mildly annoying.

I appreciate good humor built into a salient point. But for those hailing fadec as some kind of comic genius, it literally couldn’t be easier to set off outrage bombs on APC. DEI, vax/anti-vax, MAGA, FJB/LGB, wokeness, gender identity- low hanging fruit.

I don’t really care if he’s here or not. Not my flavor, but you really ought to have to have a thick skin to play in this sandbox. I won’t claim I’ve never laughed over some of his benign absurdities, but if you think fadec never crossed the line of decency, it’s probably because the most egregious stuff got removed pretty quickly by the mods. I’ve seen a couple of things from him that would get a person banned from a respectable establishment in 1977- much less today. My guess is that whatever led to his (now rescinded) ban was probably more than just “being cheeky”. (I may have seen the one that did him in, because I was like, “bro…”)
