Sounds like at least half the year it’s pretty junior

In the May bid packet the most jr DEN 73 FO headed to ANC is a 14,8xx which is probably 6-8 months on property.

Buddy of mine in DEN bids ANC trips and manages to get a 24-28 hour ANC layover on almost every trip with one year of seniority

Default EWR

Just a question about getting off reserve in EWR. What is the date of hire of most junior FOs with a line in EWR on 737, 756 and 787?
Thank you.

Thank you.
Most recent g-line (guaranteed line) was roughly 800, 2800, 3800 above bottom for 73, 75, 78
Hiring over that period has been roughly 50/week.

Barring another black swan id say ewr 737 lineholder should stay under a year. The other two i would not bet on moving so quickly. Hiring 4000 in under two years is unprecedented. Hiring 8000 in under 4 is even crazier

these are numbers in category or on the total ISL? Also for the post above about 12/13 off 90 credit on the 737. Are there ways to bid reserve and get more days at “home” not necessarily days off but days at home. I find trying to understand United reserve is a bit complex. I see there is such thing as “long call” so essentially if you had an unused long call day that’s already better than a line.

In most fleets/seats, long call is something that people on reserve hear about, but never see. Like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster.

that’s not my understanding. long call is the default assignment. They can convert to short call at will but have to pay up
