CA override of 1 hour/leg operated.

No harm to WB FO. Incentivizes NB CA. Walking around money for WB CA.

not really. I don’t think the NB CA shortage will be changed by anything that I have seen in the MEC updates.

unless there is a massive gain for NB CA - as in more days off while making the same or more amount of money I don’t see a massive wave of FOs upgrading …

Rapid NB fleet growth with little or no reserve time as a CA would cause those vacancies to be filled.

we have rapid fleet growth and they aren’t getting filled.

Notice that LAS is not part of the CA vacancy bid? I guess we are starting to see the end of the line of “throw CA vacancies to any domicile in a desperate attempt to find NB CA”

Open FO slots all over the place. Looking for something specific?

I guess particularly DEN and EWR. I’ve seen in the past people posting a breakdown so wasn’t sure if that was out there or not.

EWR 787 737 320 DEN 737 787. Denver is pretty limited. EWR is wide open.

It's easy to understand why there's so many unfilled CA slots.
Bad reserve rules, bad junior lines, bad trip trading system and unknown contract changes.
I'm waiting until we have some clarity with a TA before entering a bid.
