Back in the day... the SgtMaj was happy to see a bunch of young Marines with paper and pen (ink-stick) out during a post-formation school-circle. What he didn't know was that they made a SgtMaj Bingo card. Behoove, dovetail, piggyback, yooos, dagum, etc. All of them. The kids without cards out were all watching the ones with bingo cards. One of the JOs had tipped off the XO so the CO was in it. Finally some young LCpl yells bingo and the knife hands flew.

the bulk of the remaining fo spots are Newark 320/737. IAH 737 (lots!), and SFO 320/737/757/787. With some sprinkles of others here and there.

It's interesting to me they are running these bids every month to try and sucker someone just off probation to bid captain. If someone does that, I hope they understand what they are getting themselves in to.

I wonder if we’ll see an uptick in unfilled vacancies due to the potential age 67 legislation. Slowed hiring could prolong time spent on reserve. Faced with that possibility, will people wait to bid new seats until they are certain what the rules are?
