I do see the IAH 787 getting CDG relatively soon. Why it hasn’t happened yet is beyond me. A major UA hub not flying to CDG.🙄
Just please not on the 767. Why management insists on subjecting our customers to an ocean crossing at .78 these days is also beyond me. IAH-MUC needs to go to the 787 too.
But again, what do I know.

I don’t think I’ve ever crossed .78 in a 767. Would passengers know the difference anyway?

Tell me you’ve never flown the 767 without telling me you’ve never flown the 767. True she’s not quite as fast as the 787 but she’ll do .82 with ease.

United doesn’t have the money making contract that makes IAH-CDG is profitable route. Air France has it….

Do you think the current management team has any sights on placing a widebody base in MCO/TPA? Would that fit into their growth plans?

MCO/TPA will not see WB growth. It’s simply an outstation 737 crew base…. WB will be strictly at hubs. MCO/TPA will not be developed into a hub.

1) agree
2) even if it were, likelihood would be using 321xlr for long haul
