This is correct. It's easy to bag on the OP for not doing 'research' but the new contracts have changed things and I haven't seen a detailed comparison of the 3 yet.

Contract language only tells part of the story though as does relative seniority in seat/base. QoL is in the eye of the beholder. As mentioned it certainly improves if you live in base. American has big
bases in states without income tax. American has decent reserve rules and you don't have to wear a hat. (No, it isn't a cover, if it were you'd take it off indoors and it would be more bearable).

That’s hard to say because each company presents a different scenario at each level of relative seniority. Meaning, what do you get a 20%, 40%, etc. Go where you want to live, if you’re willing to relocate or already live in a specific company’s domicile.

We've had recent newhires go right to the 330 and 350, and not all in NYC either. Also, with our new uniform, single breasted blazers are now an option. But from what I hear, good luck getting anything to fit correctly and you still have to wear a hat, so there's that.

Easy method to decide - where do you want to live? If one of the Big 3 has a base within driving distance quit driving yourself crazy - the answer is right in front of you.

Don't care where you want to live? Apply to all 3. Take the first one that gives you the first class date. No more need to drive yourself crazy.

Unless you look at the seniority advancement, and w/b flying, in each base for each airline you're willing to fly for it's a difficult thing to research. I've done it for guys but they had one airline as #1 and were choosing between two bases OR had one city in mind and were choosing between 2 airlines. Right now you're looking at 3 airlines and a dozen plus bases. They had 2 choices to choose between. You're looking at 30-40 options and we have no clue what you value more than a different choice.

The dollar difference between the airlines is probably minimal. Pick your preferred domicile and pursue that airline(s).
