Can someone verify or deny this

too late brother, this crap filtering throughout the system. Just got this from a buddy
And who is starting the war. I'm not talking to the FAA. Im protecting myself from an idiot Maybe you should find out who started it...
Dude, my bro at Alaska just kicked a UA jump seater off. He said “No way in hell are you riding up here until we get info on this crap.” **** yes!

It’s great how something happens that is so egregious that a pilot goes straight to the FAA yet that pilot is the enemy……I somehow don’t think this pilot went to the FAA over some missed callouts. So let’s get more of the story before we start closing cockpit doors.

Take that percent of 17,000. It's not "one bad egg", it's one of those (insert percentage here) decided to flex their sheer stupidity.
Maybe you need to chill out?
Imagine if EWR or Maui had an offline JS'er on board and, well, went to the FAA......

I wouldn’t blame them……you almost kill me and I’m not just going to the Jumpseat committee. You think if that Atlas 767 had pulled out that Archeleta would have just let it slide?

Please for the love of everything holy do not start denying rides to anyone.
I fly for SWA and anyone not on "the list" is welcome in my JS or any seat on the airplane. I probably average 1-2 United guys a trip due to where I am based. All comers are welcome. Let's educate the offender and move on.
And yeah, solving issues between pilots should start face to face and escalate from there. Going to the cops isn't a good look.

But you'd probably crucify them anyway......
Sadly, the more new(er) hires I run into, I'm inclined to believe this.

so let’s go full circle here. What is the point of the half wing? It isn’t about just getting free beer. Let’s educate our new hires……that’s the point a half wing means I’m new mentor me.

It's more about "welcome to UAL, this is how this place operates, this how scheduling works, this is how to bid, these are some techniques/tactics for daily life at UAL, here's how to work reserve, here's how to bid", what have you.
At this this stage of the game, what's alleged here is outside the confines of trying to "mentor" someone.......
Even though the experience level of the average new hire has dropped DRASTICLLY from those of us from the dark decade and a half, there some things that are OBVIOUS about being a professional......
