Non-profile.

Sure… I did use Must Award Off xxx-xxx (12 day string) and all of them failed… only one that worked was not using this command. In other words, if you are not based in GUM then CMP will more than likely not give you an entire string of 12/13 days off… but you can try!

Commuters on WB Reserve,

How have the new rules changed your QOL if at all? I'm considering going WB soon but will be a commuter and most people say to avoid WB reserve. Just curious if things have improved, worsened or stayed about the same since August.

Cheers,

Cheers,

it seemed worse this summer… lots of sick calls. Regarding new RSV rules appears they are assigning way more SCs than previously… if your not senior enough to hold one of the few LCL (long call only) reserve lines or be a bottom line holder I would highly discourage bidding reserve as a commuter… lots of hotels/SCs.

the amount of SC that scheduling builds on the 737 fleet would be funny, if it weren’t so tragic. And they looooooove those 1 day short calls, just to screw up your last day commute home.

Like the 1700 1 day short call that was in ORD for tomorrow..? What is even the point of that!?

That's a freebie for a local in silo. I'd be all over that if they had one of those in open time in my category.

I don’t get it. I got assigned late build SC in EWR on my last day. There’s so few trips that I can do out of here that would get me back before my HDO that idk what’s the point.

20-K-3-c-(15) Without his concurrence, a Reserve who has one (1) day available for reserve assignment will not be assigned a Short Call that begins at or after 1400. For purposes of this paragraph, “days available for reserve assignment” shall include RDOs and FDOs.

If they try to assign a 1-day SC, make sure you PDR it..
