We already are buying/leasing A321s…. But United isn’t going to give up their 737 delivery slots they were picked up on the cheap and is now even cheaper….

How dare you! The 737 (particularly the overhead panel) is so perfect that 60 years of engineering and science haven't been able to improve on it. It has also proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can double most fuselages without having to make any changes at all to the wings as long as you are willing to fly 160+ target speeds and deal with the occasional runway massage.

Iberia has just taken delivery of the first A321XLR. So I guess they are going to start rolling off the line.
