Anyone have any juicy rumors about when the next vacancy bid will be? It's been 2 months now...

Lol. We used to go YEARS between vacancy bids, but I definitely prefer the more frequent ones! :)

My friend that flies the 756 says things haven't changed a lot for him, but when there is an issue it usually results in a lot of extra pay.

Serious question... why would you aggressively pick up SCs (aside from it being the choice of SC pickup or a really crappy trip)?

I let them assign me SCs last month and, of course, they went wild assigning them to me but I hit my 6 assigned SCs fairly quickily and spent my last 8 days of reserve on LC and was never used. I'm NB so maybe it's a different mindset WB but I only flew 5 days last month on TRV.

Serious Answer......Well you sort of answered your own question...but I would add that the fact it is in open time is a probably a pretty good indicator of the crappiness of the trip, furthermore.... since the likelihood of you braking guarantee is incredibly slim....a real productive trip.....as a reserve just means the only entity being productive .......is the company off of your free labor.

Also if you live in base and you would rather be at home......you have the "chance" of not going to work.

Lastly the chess playing part of it is.........it blocks you for the next calendar day as well. Kind of like staying ahead of the airplane you know.

Line holders are constantly being reassigned as if now on reserve. Reservest are being abused. New reserve lines are not working as described or designed. Hopefully next contract fixes these issues and models south west or deltas approach.

im VEC reserve. I worked 6 days in September and credited 102 hours. I think my QOL under this contract is pretty good.

I see less than a half VEC offered in Nov plan in my category, so looks like company aware of that))

The Toddlers are still trying to hang on it seems.

This contract is orders of magnitude better than that POS you idiots shat out, that was voted down by NINETY FOUR PERCENT.

Take the L, or keep being a tool, over to you.

My QOL under the new contract has been exponentially better. Really enjoying the new rules, so not sure what you’re getting at.

I ve found so far that the first two months have been very predictable to what the Scheduling committee forecasted in thier UGAPUMA.....or whatever it was called that they published in July. Worth referencing if one is contemplating any of the new special reserve types.

Again they recommend some types for people who live in base and others (LC) for those that commute.
