Just wait till you count all the individual caution lights in the Guppy..I think it's 136, give or take a few 😁

(In all honesty, the training here is great and while Guppy FO is absolutely the busiest seat here at UA... It's really not too challenging. If they can teach me how to fly this dinosaur, they can teach anyone...!)

Compared to the 727 that I used to fly, this thing is state of the art.

In all seriousness, it's not a hard airplane to learn or fly. It has very little automation, there are a bunch of supplemental procedures that you have to remember to do and the right seat is really busy on the ground, but it's not hard to fly. Just have a very solid knowledge of the FM and don't think of it as a relic......... it's a classic.😁

aaaa the great equalizer...the airbus 320 family.......it makes great airmanship not noticeable and masks poor airmanship..........it's like you are playing SEGA Genesis in a real comfortable seat.

Also, we've had Bus vacancies going to new hires recently, so you might never have to deal with the mighty Guppy...

Sounds like that’s the hallmark of a well-designed aircraft.

Give it 100 hours and you’ll be fine! Haha

I’m convinced guppy drivers have Stockholm syndrome. Through a series of fortunate events for me I’m not even going to consolidate in the guppy and back to the bus.
