So you've dined at a Mongolian restaurant in California.......Wikipedia estimates a Diaspora of just under 52,000......to put that in context the Dominican diaspora in the United States is 2,3 Million.........

We (United) were like a passing team, where as Delta is more like a run first team, and the LCC's they're like punting prior to Fourth down.

It's exciting to be a part of and entertaining to watch right up until the point we throw a pick six.........hopefully that doesn't happen.

Too funny. Market Cap = # of shares outstanding x share price. Let me know when you find a CFO who thinks market cap and by extension the share price "means nothing." Ever heard of stock options or investor relations?

Besides I already barely work at a too big to fail airline that's paying down debt without the attention grabbing splashy headlines your influencer CEO craves.
Brother, show us on the doll were UAL hurt you. I hope AA treats you well and you have a great career.

We're an international airline, that's out competitive advantage. Credit card miles become more valuable when you fly to places that are desireable, interesting, or different.

Can't speak to Mongolia being our next profit center, but we're doing it from Tokyo. This will likely be a 737 based out of Guam doing this trip.

Shouldn't you be electing a new union president rather than worrying about why your competitor, who keeps kicking your teeth repeatedly, decides where they will fly? Mongolia will be a 737 and will be fed by ANa in Japan. It's a strategic move, and I would bet it will work out. United is making global gains, while AA is looking for parking in Tuscon and Santa Fe. We work for companies with different visions.

I'm sure the countless high spending business travelers that AA was generous enough to gift UA this past year will be feeling extra adventurous with their upcoming summer vacation plans. There's only so much to do in London.

Scott Kirby sure likes to gamble with everyone's career the way he runs that place.

In the early 2000s Leo Mullin had a vision for Delta to "fly from anywhere to everywhere". Bankruptcy soon followed. Now Delta is the most profitable airline and mostly stays on the beaten path. Seems to make sense.

Loved the social media influencer campaign leading up to this "big" announcement. I'm sure Greenland and Mongolia and some cities in Spain and Portugal that probably only Hemmingway have ever been to will excite everyone and will be major revenue generators.
Your concern is cute and all, but almost every route that has been started in the past few years have exceed expectations, many of which have increased frequency and/or upgraded to a bigger plane.

You seem rather upset by what another airline is doing, since it appears you don't work for United.

At the standards meeting Kirby called AA the “gazelle with the broken leg,” obviously struck a nerve.

Oh yes, the CEO that makes desicions in a complete vacuum being schooled by the sage counsel of the dump truck driver, errrr, pilot - sorry... Never ceases to amaze me how this profession draws so many that would have been experts in so many other careers, but have never done anything but fly a plane.

I can't speak to their commerical viability, but Greenland and Mongolia are two places I've always wanted to go, so I'm here for it as a non-rev. Only downside is I gotta get myself to Narita first? Or worse, Newark?
