Vacation Awards Out
If you got vacation in the month you wanted but not the days you wanted, what tactics are tehre to make it work? Can the futures desk move days around after the bid awards are posted for that month to your off days to facilitate trip trading?

2. You can try to trade it for the week you wanted with another pilot
3. you can ask the futures desk to move vacation days and if on rsv you can ask to move the rsv days coverage allowing. If you are a line holder, you would have to be able to drop your trips first, but then why would you need to be able to drop your trips that covered the days you wanted to move the vacation too first.
However this request can only be made after PBS awards have been published for that month and think there is a set day of the month those requests can be made after.
They will not just move it before then.

Thinking more so move the vacation days around to free up blocks of off days to trade trips into those days
1. you can slide your vacation up to 3 days left or right using the vacation mod.
2. You can try to trade it for the week you wanted with another pilot

Done this many times when I had a vacation month where I didn’t actually want or need the days that I was awarded in a later round. Just call after your PBS award. It’s easy.
