I bet they could let her sue and give her a couple hundred grand to go away forever and still come out ahead. That whackadoo captaining their planes is costing way more in terms of public perception.

I am surprised that GLAAD and other advocacy groups haven’t gone for UA’s throat over this one. I’m sure an Article 8 will come out of at least one LEC, but she wants that attention. It would give her a platform to preach from.

She should be Article VIII'd and expelled from the union. I hope someone has the cojones to offer up a resolution for it. She is a blight on our profession and is only interested in advancing her own agenda, consequences be damned. It would the the ultimate karmic justice to make her carpet dance without union representation and after she so callously threw other pilots under the bus, I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it.

I didn't hear opinion on DCA. It may be similar to my view. I did hear her lump together 2000-3000 hour, 1 year Instagram influencer Upgrades... as being the same people as "running the unions now and trying to prevent experienced pilots fly"

I’m in agreement with Tired Soul. Not everything said was wrong…but when addressing the age 67 and letting the seniors stay on to teach the juniors something I cringed. We have a lot of great new captains that are Lost Decade folk. We have plenty that will step up and mentor (same for us at WN).
As for Tucker, I can’t help but think the general American public just doesn’t understand. I think he jumped the gun to get a whistleblower’s statement without doing a bit of journalism background checking.
