Also, one decision of his cost me and a hundred other pilots our longtime parking setup with almost no notice, it took winning a grievance months later to get it restored while we struggled with getting individual reimbursements. While locked out, when we asked his FMs to provide demographic information needed for our attempt to self organize new airport parking for the group… the FMs flat out ignored our many requests for help. This was likely a direction from the CP as he seemed determined not to lift a finger to help us in any way. Come to think of it, the CCS message announcing the loss of parking blamed it on a policy change by the airport parking authority - this was a flat out lie, it was 100% a CP decision (which we discovered in our own talks with the parking authority).
There is space to expand our bag rooms, but last year the front office went on a spree to clean out the existing one… and I had to scramble to recover my hung blazer just before showtime. The rooms are busting again, I get jealous when I see bag rooms in other hubs.
I asked a former C34 officer about the CP a while back and he said Larry had mellowed out somewhat over time. I was resigned to his staying in SFO until retirement, it should be a huge breath of fresh air when he departs.
The good news for DEN is that he shouldn’t be around too long and probably just wants to cruise to retirement.

I managed to avoid his office for the last decade so can’t say he ever wronged me personally. However, the front desk is now a shadow of what it was when he took over, as he basically ran all but one of the original inhabitants out (one was contentiously fired). It used to be great to say hello to the familiar faces, now they change pretty regularly and I don’t ask for any small favors.

Our parking is owned and managed by SFO directly. The base business manager pays the monthly bill set up United corporate real estate. It can all be done for a price that corporate real estate is unwilling to pay. FOSR’s? Same their direct supervisor is the base business manager. Not the CP. As to Lynn being fired, she wasn’t. There were many facts C34 omitted from their letter. Was she great? Yes. But definitely more to the story and a decision made by corporate legal.

Evidently you’ve got your own ax to grind with C34 - the officer I referred to was not serving when the TA came out. And the parking I mentioned was not SFO parking, so you could have skipped the business lecture. Can’t say I knew firsthand the full details of Lynn’s circumstances, I don’t think she exactly left voluntarily. I certainly saw the turnover. Was the LL lawsuit a coincidence? Draw your own conclusion. I say Good Day to you, sir.
