GK, WM, and the other 570’s and 539’s would loooovvveee two more years. GK thinks that every First Officer if woefully unqualified to fly without his expertise and guidance in the cockpit. He’s a modern day hero and needs two more years to be able to mentor and shape future captains. Just ask him, he’ll
tell you how stupid and dangerous everyone other than him is.

LEPF stands for Let Egomaniac Painters Flatulate….and after February or so, there will be more time for all of that….and pizza.

The GK bashing needs to stop. He literally risked his career to donate one of his kidneys to a friend (not spouse, child etc) because he was a match to her. He had to miss a bunch of work and take a risk there could be complications that would end his career. It cost him pay and time but he did it. He's not a selfish person. A lot of people don't like him because they are jealous he was hired so young or because he was on the MEC and didn't politically agree with him. He's a decent guy with a lot of talent and doesn't really deserve this public bashing. I can't imagine he even cares.

Thats another discussion altogether. I was calling out the outright BS that some were saying he said. Outright lies. I for one do NOT want 67, and I’m senior, and disagree with GK. But the grade school insults by some here are ridiculous.

It’s not grade school to call out a 570 that opening posts on social media that we need to raise the age to counter the young clueless guys that are hired today. That makes about 0 sense when you were hired as a replacement worker in your early 20s. It’s calling a spade a spade.
