I missed it by one week....

Still, being an FO here on the worst day is still 100X better than being a Skywest CA on the best day. Very grateful to be here.

“Awhile” might be shorter than you think. A lot of people seem to prefer taking the WBFO slots in preference to NBCA, and if we continue getting 7-8 787s a month, That’ll generate a requirement for a lot of movement. Couple that with NB growth and add in the 650 or so retirements and there is going to be a LOT of movement. And you know the old saying about hindsight being 20/20.

I think we are getting 24 for 2026 I saw somewhere…7-8 a month is a dream I hope to see someday ha.

For those that feel bad just missing out,
also look at it from the other side of the coin, you could have been bottom of the NBCA all those months. I can understand that is preferable to the pay cut from NK NBCA to NBFO, I took a similar cut and it hurt

uhh, I am the bottom of the NBCA, literally the plug in IAH. Living in base on reserve is awesome. Crediting a bunch and working little. What’s there not to like?

Interesting, wasn’t always the case. Maybe that’s a IAH thing since you guys were over staffed?

Same here for DCA. Absolutely love it. Short calls and stay home. Fly when I want to in low season. Did work a lot this summer but also got paid a lot.
family schedule works great with in base reserve.

I guess downside is cannot plan normal people weekends off

Do the people who are complaining not understand the concept of seniority?

He likely confused the MAX and 787 delivery numbers... We are SUPPOSED TO () start getting Max9s at a prodigious rate of around that number...

Same in ORD. Haven’t touched a plane in 23 days. Couldn’t even hold reserve at 99%! Forced into a line this month!
