I don't know why DEN people are surprised. It went so junior for awhile with tons of brand new people bidding CA, shouldn't be a surprise that more senior people are now coming in and pushing things down.

You guys can try to do mental gymnastics over how quick to hold CA. But the real data point is that LAX 320 CA was the ONLY CA seat to get a new plug.
every single CA awarded was senior to the plug except for 1 pilot in LAX.
put another way the seniority list is still correcting itself from 2 years ago.

I don’t know how you came to that conclusion. They only talk about captain upgrades. Seems like they have the staffing needs covered but there are still a significant amount of unfilled first Officer positions they will hire for.
