Default Ual alpa: For immediate release

Family Awareness Volunteers,

MAINTAIN STATUS QUO!

Do NOT call in sick unless you are sick. Do NOT do ANYTHING specifically designed to impose economic hardship on the company.

Leaving the ranch or going rogue is EXACTLY what management wants. Such action not only puts you at risk it puts great risk on the Association and could unravel our current standing with the NMB. We are too close.

The above is for immediate release! There are reports of pilots receiving text messages on their phones to call in sick. While the source of these messages is unconfirmed it is very possible this is an attempt by those wishing to do harm to you and the Association. It is also possible the source could be at another level as management would like nothing better than to get us back into court, get a restraining order, a huge fine and have us lose our ability for self-help all at the hand of a federal judge. If you are on an email distribution list of any kind, get the above message out to the pilots.

Fraternally,

Scott Freeman

Yawn. This just means we havent been doing it in the first place. If there is a major shift, back the other way, it just proves the companys position. Pilots are doing nothing wrong, the operation, shares, and staffing are in shambles, no way even a judge cant see that. Status quo? Are they staffed like they were last year. Did we have wx like we did last year? I can go on all night.

Meanwhile, the company can do all in it's power to make our lives miserable. So far management seems to be getting everything they want......and it's SICKENING.

Or do what many have done for the past few years -- fly 95hrs, pick up everything in sight, and answer all phone calls to cover their lifestyle that has remained unadjusted for the last 10 years.

There are even those who have been pumping up their monthly earnings under the foolish premise that their bonus or retro will be based on the previous year's earnings.

The "status quo" has been filled with lots of self-inflicted wounds over the past few years.
