What better way to show the Company the disunity within the pilot group than to have a few idiots doing their own thing with an unsanctioned event. Take all that great action of a 99% strike vote and flush it down the toilet by having a few idiots show the Company that they know better than their union and that their union doesn't speak for them.

So what exactly are they saying for you? I'm being told to sit on my hands just like we've done for the last 7 years and take it like a man. How's it working for you?

We'll soon see LEC and MEC reps selling a substandard TA, that includes a huge mark down on retro pay (call it signing bonus if it makes you feel better) in the neighborhood of 35 cents on the dollar, because of "the total cost" of it. A wholesale roll over on scope, because "The Delta pilots didn't need it". Work rules that won't make S-UAL pilots happy because "we need to keep our competitive advantage" and best of all, the excuse that we are starting from zero with our concessionary/bankruptcy starting points here and can't get released, so let's not even try or we'll be put on ice. Let's just take this deal and we'll get it "next time" guys.

You sound like someone from the Gov't when their programs aren't working, which is most of the time. Kind of remind me of Nancy Pelosi or Joe Biden; Kind of whiny in a mad tone when things aren't going your way.

Heard the same from an LEC rep who I know personally and who doesn't 'go with the flow' when it comes to Jay and this type of crap. Expect a sell job soon on scope.

They can tout it all they want but I sure as heck won't vote for anything less than 100% retro pay. Now, if the company had negotiated in good faith and wrapped up negotiations in a couple of months, then heck yes I'd vote for a contract with a retro "haircut" BUT NOT NOW. They've been bleeding us, dragging this out for 2+ years and now I want them to choke on the retro pay.

Rumor is a $8000 signing bonus and 70 seaters at express.

That's a "no" for me.

May I ask your basis of that rumor? That's barely more than the FA's got.

Does anyone have a link or more info about the unsanctioned picketing tomorrow? The SPSC memo was the first I had heard about it; I don't get out much.
