Not attacking your phrase but the question is stay focused on what? Inept communications, or announcing an AIP for political reasons, or the so-called gag order?
The MEC Chair's should never have released anything. An AIP on certain sections was accomplished over three years ago. If it wasn't purley political reasons for announcement then why did the UAL-MEC Chair said was a "great win for the pilots" and four weeks later we STILL got nothin'. Pure political BS.

First of all, it does not matter what name is on that union card in your wallet. A union is no better than the resolve and courage of its membership. If you start another union, the same people will be elected to lead you, they will have the same inclinations as your current leadership.

When you are currently working for 40% less and received No Merger Equity payments and have been watching Jeff and his Buddies cash in..
I don't think UAL Pilot's have any room to criticise DAL/NWA Pilots for contract improvements they have had obtained over the last 5 years..
Maybe Barron should look in the mirror to see who was played.
Maybe it is about time UAL Pilots look at taking action with or without ALPA....
