No more listening to NO voters rage about how this CBA doesn't fit their personal airline pilot identity, despite zero reasonable plan of action after the vote.

No more listening to "I voted NO!" or "I told you so".. or wait never mind....
Don't forget.... Not having to worry about where to spend the retro check, we'll just let Smisek keep it.

Well, partly right. My "raise" was reduced by the fact that we work the same number of days for conceivably three hours less pay. In other words, I got a $17 an hour raise, however, since I LOST three hours of pay, it's as though my effective raise was reduced by over $7 an hour. And this is just the beginning.............

Don't forget the $1 per hour you are required to invest in the VEBA

Don't worry, it's a great win for America.

You got more than planned, due to the WH picket by UAL pilots...

you don't get what you deserve, you get whatever you can negotiate in the current political and economic climate......

it's all about politics.... not a pilots own Narcissus image....

Sorry for all the leg work. James is a Luddite and many aspects of the computrex are over his head.

Well, the beginning for me was a 54% immediate raise..I am no way saying this contract was great, in fact, in my opinion, it NEVER should have been released to this pilot group. That being said, would you have turned down a 54% raise?

"it NEVER should have been released to this pilot group"

You guys have to stop this kind of talk. The MECs voted to release it for a vote based on the information they had. This is why they were elected to represent you and your interests. If you don't like their decisions then run for local council and represent us accordingly.

You will find it ain't as easy as all your whining and complaining would seem to make it.

Just wait till the integration, may the wailing and gnashing of teeth really begin. We don't get a vote this time.

This is not true. If you get 73 hours on reserve it is a long call line (13 hour call out vs. the 10 hours now) Now it pays you 72 hours on long call, so you get an extra hour of pay. If you bid a short call line and get one you will be paid 76 hour just like you are today. But you have 3.5 hours to push vs 3 hours today.

I believe the L-UAL reserve pays 72 hours now so it is an extra hour than they are getting now.

So when you rant about the "awful" contract at least put some facts into your argument.

Regular, I was not and am not complaining. I am simply stating that the industry leading contract that we were "promised"..did not come to fruition. This is all h2o under the bridge, that much is true. As far as the whining and gnashing of teeth...we are pilots, that's what we do best.
