Vacancy Bid Results

How long does it normally take for the final bid awards to be published? The bid closed yesterday.

Usually out the same day. I think someone from Lual turned the computer off, or put out a virus to insert Lual pilots in all vacancy.

At least for me, my GUPPY days are over. They have been for the last 17 years or so. But hey now that my kids are out of the house, I would like to spend my last 17 years on BIGFOOT of which Lual has twice as many. I will most definitely stays away from SPARKY. Maybe I will do some time on the WHALE before it goes away just for kicks.

UAL guys, are your vacancy awards (soon to be our new system) always posted on time? I can't think of ONE time that a CAL system bid has been posted on the designated award date. This often holds true with PBS too, and it's maddening.

On the L-UAL side, They normally post results a week after the bids close. I am guessing that maybe the B787 issues might be the reason for the adjustments if there are any.

Maybe they will have to re-bid the whole thing as they realize the 787 will be a hangar queen static display for the next year.

A buddy of mine (LCAL) 73 Cap said by contract it's 3 days and said they wait to the very last second...ie Friday 8 Feb 1700ish. FWIW.
