You mean the guppy that can barely get its own a$$ off the ground, can't get to a decent altitude? What a POS. Give me the -700 any day or better yet, a Bus.

Yep that A320, now that's a revenue generator. All 138 seats. The -900 is a pig cause it actually hauls paxs. Get over yourself and leave the 737 flying to the CAL pilots. We will all be much happier and you can fly your tree trimmer to your hearts desire.

Dude,

Flying the Guppy now and have flown the Bus. No comparison.

And by the way, there is no such thing as a CAL pilot anymore. Yes there are two lists, but I believe the JCBA says United pilots.

Just think how much revenue they can generate when they stretch the guppy to say....I dunno.....280-300 seats? Won't that be GREAT! :D

I'm into fondling Fifi. I don't care how many seats are behind me. Pretty sure the pax don't care either. As long as they're comfy.

Say, its after one, its Martini Time!!!!

Still waiting as to why 5 years is the only fair thing.

Beer thirty here.

You need to care how many seats are behind you as that's what keeps you living in your tequila bottle. I frankly don't care as long as butts are filling the seats. Mo seats, no money. Just like the CAL pilots are doing with the contract vote, move on and quit living the 90's.

I might listen to ten....fifteen tops. The 90s were a handful of bands away from a musical wasteland.

Mo' seats? Sure, keep em and fill the whales and 777s. That where the REAL money is made. A stretched guppy is just a longer trout in the porcelain bowl. We still gotta serve good pizza though. And I still don't care how many seats are behind me. DAL just put in a pretty good quarter. How many uber guppies do they fly?

I don't live in a Tequila bottle. I live in a condo. I do love tequila...but I love bourbon more. Well, unless its summer. Then I enjoy a Gin n Tonic. You know, potent botanicals, quinine and lime. This tasty elixir not only helps keep scurvy at bay, but it also facilitates a pleasant demeanor and comportment. Equally important, the ladies diggit. That's always good. Cold Beer is good too. Real good.

The disgrace to the profession was how much more the NB guys took it in the shorts to protect the WB guys during the BK contract at the U.

James,
How could an accomplished & seasoned mariner such as yourself neglect to mention the anti-malarial properties of quinine?? Cheers!

oldmako 02-20-2013 12:21 PM

Clearly I am a DOLT! I had no idea. But you're right....the lime is for scurvy, the quinine an anti-malarial. I am verklempt with shame. Perhaps we should repair to the galley and refresh our tumblers as we discuss the salubrious effects of this fine aperitif!
