So he is not allowed to complain? Many of us feel there is no leadership, heck I still cant believe this pos contract they brought to us. You sound just like our chicago reps.

You guys crack me up, there is just as much waste on alpa side as our company side and the only response we get is why don't you join them, come on come up with something original.

You don't think reps take advantage, please

That is the only logical response. When will get it? If you don't like something you should try to change it by been a part of it. Did your parents teach you that? Mine did.
Unless you can't , bad member or not a voting member etc then I understand

28 years of good member, tired of the same old song and dance. Voice our opinions and they always seem to fall on deaf ears. I have been a part of plenty over my time, probably donated more time off the property than you will ever know, just don't like how alpa is run. If I feel that way I am allowed to voice that opinion, my parents taught me that, didn't yours?

Hate to break up the p1ssedoff-ness, but I didn't want to start my own thread or whatever it's called..

So, I can't figure out how to look at pairing on this crap. I keep entering them in exactly how the letter-number combo looks on the packets. It keeps saying "no pairing information".

What's the deal?

Standard ALPA bully response. Why don't you get involved?

Well, when I express a different opinion, I get slammed.

Nuff said.

STUPID, as defined by me, on this forum.

Name calling, My ETOPS is better than your 3 IRU's on the 320, ORD-HKG same as GUM-PAL. Massively stupid on both sides. IMHO.

What is worse.

After 3 years, we get both MEC's coming up with WORSE stuff than we come up with on this forum. They came up with it after dropping trips with ALPA pay, plus lawyers, secretaries, advisers, all in hotels, to come up with stuff that is more childish and immature than the worst offenders on this forum. ALL AT THE COST OF MILLIONS OF OUR DOLLARS.

Stupid is name calling and slamming each other over SLI. CRIMINAL IS SPENDING MILLIONS to pay others to do the same, or much worse. They tell us to stay engaged. But slam us when we dissent.

Make sure you enter the pairing start date as well, in the format indicated.

ALPA has never been a union, it is an association, look at the name, words have meanings. When ALPA was created, and most of you have no idea when that occurred, the design of the organization fit the times and the personalities involved. Today ALPA operates just as it has for over 8 decades despite the many changes in the industry, federal law and technology. To put it bluntly, ALPA is obsolete. If there was a professional organization representing all commercial airline pilot equally threads like this one would not exist. Yet we have pilots that still cling to the mistaken ides that some how if we just keep dong what we have been doing that everything will be alright. Well if you consider working for less than 50 percent of what your predecessors worked for, work more with fewer days off and not have a retirement as your predecessors, then I guess you are happy with what ALPA has done for the airline pilot profession for the last thirty years.
