Couldn't disagree with you more. And neither could past precedence. If what you consider fair is adopted, it will be a huge detriment to the piloting profession in future mergers. It pits one side against the other, encourages delays, end run maneuvers, and means that for one side, the longer you go without a contract, the better it is in the ISL. I know it works out for the LCAL to be a benefit this time to desire 2013, but it might not for the NEXT merger if you find yourself on the shrinking side.

A basic tenet that I've adopted for myself (not that my opinion counts for anything besides my own mental well being) is to constantly evaluate what I think is "fair" against how I would feel if we had merged with USAIRways and were the junior pilot group. If it doesn't past that sniff test for me, I discard it from my thinking. For example, DOH would be great for me in this merger. It would be not so hot for me in a Airways merger, so I know that backing that proposal wouldn't be fair in my mind.

Saying it for the second time isn't going to change the fact that everyone pretty much ignores you at this point.

You can't have it both ways. You can't claim longevity to April 2013 then say the furloughees haven't been recalled to the United side so their time on property doesn't count.
DEAL! OK, you work your side and I'll work mine. Ready.....BREAK!

Didn't see or read the word "tenant" ... Both sides reps who served on the re-write committee didn't mention tenant; in fact, both sides agreed the change was made to emphasize "fair and equitable" and de-emphasize the limitations of the old 5 factors. Are we reading the same policy? Or is there a special "FOR L-UAL PILOTS ONLY" copy floating around?

Did your pre-UPA contract allow this to happen, or better yet, prevent this from happening?

Monica? Do you mean Marilyn? Monica was Bill's girl. She is still around. Bill was there when Elvis died.

There is absolutely no point conversing with these guys. Unless of of course your talking to them about how they are gonna be widebody captains right after ISL, after all they were hired in 1997. Larry, I like your first tag much better. BLAME GLENN.
