Vacancy 14-06 is out. No Denver backfills, no surprise there. A WAVE of blue is washing into 737 EWR CAP....again, there are no unfilled vacancies in any BES, and the company is definetly getting some voluntary defections from the 76T in all bases, which makes it easier to park those 30+ jets this year.

Just refering to the fact that most (like 90% +) are coming from the "blue" side. Ex-UAL v Ex-Con. That's all. Not good, not bad. Just an observation.

No reason we can't fly airplanes our company bought for us to fly on our routes. Anyone on the seniority list can bid those. Since most of the CAL guys left EWR and bid into IAD, DEN, ORD, LAX, and SFO seems only right that someone has to take the places in EWR.
If guys don't like it, they should have stayed there and not left the base.

Sled,
Just finished in the school house on the 76t and was told by my apd and the fleet manager that the 30 57's getting parked is being reduced. They may be pulling my chain but just passing along the school house rumor.
Didn't the ewr CPO just put something out about that as well?

For what its worth...
A buddy of mine is in the March 25 class. He stated that he was told there were a total of 7 in the class. 6 were new hires. He also was told that the planes available at this moment were the 320 and 76T. No mention of the 737.
Of course - the class is a month away and things change.
