I guess that's how you define "essentially equivalent"...

UAL 2009 ASM 122M CAL 2009 ASM 92M. I guess if you round each one to the nearest 100M then yes, but if you do math, then UAL is 32% larger and viola, no extra pilots.

What's 30M ASMs among friends....

What is the LUAL definition of longevity, especially as it relates to furloughed employees.

Thanks

Those are "extra" pilots per CAL MC. They aren't sure why we need to have 4 pilots on flights. They only use 2 on their little guppies.

How can you base an ISL argument on longevity, when you cannot define it?

At least once the SLI is done you will have a better chance of getting on as a pilot. It must be hard for you to toss peanuts as a flight attendant while working on your private AND also be an expert on SLI! Take a load off, have a GNO, and rent the 172 with AC next time.

LAX Pilot, ASM stands for Available Seat Miles, NOT block hours. Two very different things

Which one leads to more pilots needed? More block hours or more available seat miles.
