Default Thank you Mr. Katz!

Your arguments were totally off and the arbitrators ignored your list COMPLETELY (just like I predicted they would).

The CAL SLI team accomplished nothing and were totally ignored.

The list still sucks, but I take some comfort in the fact that our lawyers controlled the methodology of the final product.

(Nothing against the CAL guys as a whole...just taking a shot at your goofy leaders).

IN UNITY!!!

Yep 77% to 88 % that's fair and equitable?

If it wasn't for Chase Manhattan, UAL would be another grave stone on the airline landscape.

Oh well.

But UAL is still here and CAL isn't.

I'm not sure that means it's a good thing to be a company making money, or a company so in debt that the bank can't afford you to fail.

I guess success does has it's downfalls.

BTW, check the FAA certification, CAL is the surviving carrier.

Not that it matters.

Whoa...hold on a minute pal. You want to start a discussion on how well off UAL was vs CAL? We have just as much pride as you do and had a better operation. UAL now operationally??? IT SUCKS! I am embarrassed to go to work it's that bad. Please tell me why the passengers I fly on CAL metal always say they are thankful it's a CAL plane with CAL employees? You guys may have won the lion share of this battle....you have a long way to go to bring yourselves up to CAL operational standards. Perhaps your attitudes will change with these ill gotten gains. Flail away if you want.

I was employed, everyone forloughed from UAL was not.

That's pretty much it.

Out of work pilot's being placed before actively working pilots.

Yep, that's fair and equitable.

I don't think it's been done before. I could be wrong. I just don't recall any.

I am one of those who is furloughed. I had 1000 below me and I still have 1000 below me. The list was fair all things considered. The CAL proposal was unfair and would have caused bitter feelings for a very long time.
