Whatever happened to the vacancy bid we were allegedly having this week?

It's under review by a panel of Elvis impersonators. They'll get to it just as soon as they complete scientific verification regarding the Bigfoot and his historical and present nesting territory.

I hear that 756IAHFO is leading the panel.

Oh no, now you've done it. The secret is out! I'm just glad you didn't mention the uniform of the day included the triangle hats with aluminum foil to block out the spy rays from the alien satellites. Inconceivable!! Beware of ROUS's....

Dave,

Nice picture in your avatar. Is that you back when you were chem trailing with the New World Order Squadron, the Chem Blasters?

It's one of the coolest aviation shots I've ever seen from WWII.

Obviously high altitude, but if you have the full resolution picture, all the prop tips are leaving circular contrails. Temp/dew point/freezing level all must have been perfect. Not so good if you wanted to avoid being seen.

But seriously, it is probably one of the first known instances of mind control drugs distribution and government cover ups regarding what they were doing to our own people. Shot might have been over LA, or NY. Manhattan project had nothing on this....

I'm being completely serious. I may not be the best pilot on the planet, but I like to think of myself as a competent pilot that can handle almost any situation. I'm not cocky or arrogant about it. I fly planes, then I go home and enjoy my great life with my wonderful wife. That's it. I like to think that I'm an okay guy to sit next to on a 4-day trip....but for the life of me I can't seem to get called for the interview.

When I read the garbage that IAH posts I can't understand HOW this guy made it through the process. No offense, but I don't care what seat you're sitting in, by the end of a 4-day trip I would be reaching over and wrapping my fingers around his neck.

Unbelievable....

Try having a screen name that is almost identical...let the record reflect that I am not Sean.

If I were you I'd hire the mafia to make him change his name. Or maybe just make him "disappear" nobody around here would miss him.

I am sure the company will let this go on for a period of time to try and get as many pilots to bail out on a vacancy as possible, but the bumps are a coming....Meanwhile, Y'all enjoy the paid vacation. Get those skis/snowboards tuned and waxed. :D

Just to add.....there are 50 Instructors that hold a paper bid of 767 F/O DEN. If they get a bump, they all can hold 737 CAP or at least 787/777 FO for their paper bid. That is about a $2700 per month (+ B fund) raise or about a $1.9M increase in annual costs JUST FOR THE 50 INSTRUCTORS. That does not include the line pilots shuffling around all he11 and gone. WOW. No wonder the Company is living with 50+% reserves! What a quandary.

The instructors are all capped at 9 yr FO pay. I don't see the DEN locals going back to the line, pay raise or not.
