Perhaps you ought to go back and read (and comprehend) ALPA merger policy? The policy that was implemented well before the UA-CAL merger? You seem to have a loose grasp on how the SLI was determined.

Your right We must have a higher than cba compliance. Still don't know why you are so proud of your culture. Seems to me your culture is fight with the company till both sides are miserable. I like that our union tries to work with the company, and the company with the union to create a sustainable company while providing a lucrative career. Maybe I should be more like UAL, scream and yell that everybody is stupid except for the pilots. Try and run the company. End up with a bunch of out of date "jumbos", all while tanking billions of dollars. Furlough a bunch of pilots merge with a descent company. Steal jobs and blame it on ALPA merger policy. Then sit back and say just tow the line we'll show you how it's done. UAL has some good guys, I have met them. By I wonder if some of y'all wear prescription helmets when you leave your houses

As I said before, your original expectations were over when it became clear that industry events would not allow CAL to go on any longer as an independent entity. What I really find astounding about young guys like you is that while imagining this grand theft, you ignore the fact that "thieves" like me will be retiring when you still have another decade to work. How unfair life is in a world of imagined entitlement. You also ignore the fact that guys hired at CAL when I was hired at UAL are well ahead of me on the list. Unlike you, I looked at the ruling, accepted it, and moved on. And no, we don't "know" the "truth" about SLI according to you. Why don't you explain it, in detail, with actual proof to back up your claims.
