I dont want anyone to get displaced. Thats a bad thing when forced upon you. We should all feel this way. SLI is done. I think the angst is over the training with who gets in first? Lets be more adult than this. Remember this will take some time to shake out. Enjoy your holidays everyone!

Exactly right....but DEN and ORD are a phat problem. 240ish 76T pilots in DEN, 380ish in ORD. And no BAT. You are spot on about IAH, the company can bump the more junior 756 guys (since BAT makes it a single fleet for bumps). THe more senior 76T guys can volunteer to take their bumps, but only with their seniority. Brilliant!

Any Idea how many 763 A/C are staying in ord? I thought I read somewhere not all of them were leaving right away. Also, is your 240 number in DEN including SUP pilots? There will be some bumps but I doubt if there will be secondary off the 73, but I have been wrong before.

A displacement can be a horrible thing or a good thing depending on where, what, why and how. So for us 76T guys it was a bad thing getting in and a good thing getting out.

I got surplused into this 76T right seat from the left seat of the Bus and I'll get surplused out of it too. Turn about being what is and all that stuff.

I look forward to getting back to FAR work and rest rules that are actually followed.
Take care everyone.

I was just glancing through the detailed 1403v award to get an idea how many pilots would get bumped out of the 76T, and then I looked at the ORD 737 Capt list. Good God man. The ORD guppy captain was always the junior Capt slot, but nothing like it is right now. My current percentage there is higher than it will probably be in 15 years when I retire. 30ish percent.
