Default Trip Trading sucks

Does anyone know if the current mechanization of trip trading is the end state? I mean we can not see what trips are open for the rest of the month? We can no longer advertise trips?
The seniority based trip trading is what it is whether each of us likes it or not. But not being able to see what is open for the rest of the month seems like a huge negative from what was available before.

Is it still a work in progress?

You can view open trips for the rest of the month for every domicile in open time. Also via the seniority trip trade search function.
You can also advertised your trips. Look under potential open trips.
You can use the real time trip trade to pick up trips from other bases after 1300 local the day prior, or you can use the seniority trip trade system for other trades. Get familiar and it can work to your advantage. I have improved my January schedule via both trade systems so far. Good luck.

Im getting denied on a pickup for next week. Trip is open, but saying im not legal. It overlaps a trip which i was fbo'd for, so im guessing that the "fbo" on my schedule is making the system think i have a conflict. Called the Chief...now im waiting to hear back... while somebody else picks it up. Everything with this company is so half-a$$ed anymore...good luck to us all.

Can we still advertise? The past link is either gone or moved, how do you advertise now?

They are trying to run United like they ran Continental, and we are seeing the problem with that.

So if I want to "advertise" a trip, I now have to place a trip for drop, then either select trips from the open or potential open bucket, or set my criteria for a trade/pickup ... the big difference from our old (LCAL) system is that no one can see the criteria either I set for the trade or pickup, nor what a pilot who places a trip in drop for a trade has set, nor is there a place to place comments about a proposed "trade" ... did the LUAL system have these features?

We never had problems like this before at CAL, nor did you guys at UA from what I gather. This is an entirely new level of suck, but please continue with your anti CAL passive aggressive schtick in every one of your posts.

It is a learning curve... perhaps you need to give yourself time...

however, on the other forum, the United guys are saying it was never this bad and the CAL guys are saying it's like PE merger....

The CAL regional airline mentality is biting us all....

Pilot64golfer...whats your deal man? Seriously...every chance you get you try to blame CAL. You really have issues with this merger, deal with them please and keep the divisive thoughts to yourself.
