Sorry to hear that, it's been overall a good career for me, I make more money with more days off then any of my friends that are outside of the airline industry, and I have a lot of fun at work. I've had a ton of great layovers, been to the Costa Rica rainforest, had cocktails overlooking Hong Kong harbor, and biked across the Golden Gate Bridge, taken my family on a lot of great trips. Aside from furloughs I've found this job is like the rest of your life, it's what you make of it, and enjoying the experience. I've had 9/5 jobs and I won't go back to that life. Maybe for you. The guy is quitting as his airline dream has been dashed. He got hosed twice. Moom comes on and tells the guy what a walk in the park his career has been and leaves a nice list to support it.
The way I was raised, one doesn't take another mans bad situation and turn it around to aggrandize his own. |
