wow.. talk about timing.
I too order a custom jacket from Pops back in the 1st week of Dec. Having dealt with them from my times in Incirlik, I really liked their work (Both my USAF A2 and a German WWII Luftwaffe Jacket they made).
Unfortunately, the jacket arrived too big. Did the phone call and sent an email. Got a response on the email but like CS said, no follow up on the email and no return calls.
I too have started a dispute with my (United) CC.
It's too bad, as the leather and workmanship is really top notch. Problem is, if it doesn't fit- then what?
Will be going with a Gibson & Barnes Jacket next.. but only if/when I can get down there a try some on myself.
At least those of you looking for options on the leather jacket now have a few recent updates.

I have purchased 3 Pop's leather jackets over the years at their store in Turkey. Honestly, the leather quality is pretty good but the workmanship is questionable… i'll fitting, cheap fasteners, etc. The only good thing about Pops is that at one time many moons ago they were cheap… not the case anymore. I purchased an M&H jacket at the Uniform store a few years ago… I'd recommend it over Pops and the price was very good… compared against the more expensive Gibson jackets and can't tell the difference.

I just got mine after a 5 month backorder, just in time for spring. I notice the the blazer wings will not fit in the provided grommets. Is that normal for these jackets?
The shirt wings will fit, but I only have one set.
Thinking maybe sending it back, minus the 15% restocking, and getting something else.

The IAH Crewroom store may have rejects for a discount. Got mine there for about $75 off. The holes did not fit the wings so they put Velcro there instead. I took the pins off of a set of wings and put Velcro on the back of them and they work great.

well, I usually wear a 42R. That's the size of my uniform jacket and most of the Leather jackets I own.
This thing is closer to a 44-46 Long!
Waiting to hear back from the CC. Have already been refunded the money from United Visa, wonder what Pops will say or do?
I expect to have to mail the jacket back to them. But if anyone wanted to try it on and make a 3 way deal between Pops, yourself and me.. I can care less.
I'll let you know if/when I hear anything back from Pops.

Half winger considering getting the leather jacket as my new, just out of the box, blazer had buttons falling off during OE. What is the latest on it still be an approved option with respect to the impending contract and/or uniform change?

Nothing official, offical, but folks on the uniform committee have said there is not an option for the leather going forward.
