This ^^^^^^^

Of course probation expires in June, so even going in July is a little less stressful.

You have no idea how right you are.

Is the first CQMV/LOE done at 9 months for new hires? Is that just a company thing and you can legally go 12 months from your new hire LOE?

My understanding is that with the AQP program, everyone does the 9 month cycle.

Also, I checked CCS and under the qualifications tab in training, and it shows my SIM check expiration to be 07/31/14. I took my LOE at the end of November '13, so 9 months from that would be August '14, and with a grace month, I thought I would expire September '14. Could it be they start the clock on when we started initial training in September, '13?

Looks like my Sim Check qualification is going to lapse on 6/30/14. With the 15 days advanced notice per UPA, this will put me into NQ territory for a few days (the longer the better if it gives me July 4th weekend off). Anybody know what this means for my CQ training (i.e., is it the same syllabus, or will I have to go through a full "type ride")?

No, just have to do a regular PC. Nothing extra. However, your base month stays the same. Meaning if you slide your PC a month because of scheduling, you don't get that month back for next time.

But....if there are problems with the equipment, like the sim crashes, and you have to come back and reschedule, now you still can't fly and get more paid time off till they can reschedule.

I believe new hires get their first one 9 months after line qualification, but after that the normal AQP is still on a 12 month cycle, for now.

Question: at what point does the year-to-year pay adjustment occur for the next higher pay rate ? So for example, if there is a CQDL trimester due and someone wants the credit to apply to the next pay step, could the module be completed anytime after the first day of that pay month or is it the actual anniversary day of the date of hire? Also, would the same principle apply to trip trades, etc?
