But it appears I'll get to turn a wheel as a Den Captain, if only for a few months....so I got that going for me, which is nice.

At my local ALPA LEC meeting last week, they said another bid is due out soon. The rumored west coast wide bodies may finally be addressed.

Thanks, but I actually got a base trade effective Sept. I'll be the bottom guy. On the bright side, it makes bidding easier.

Somebody has to be the bottom guy. I always thought that was my natural place.

When PBS first started at UAL, I was the bottom guy. I never logged into the system in 3 years. Amazingly, I got a surprising number of holiday and weekend days scheduled off. I guess everybody else got so complicated with their bids that some good stuff filtered its' way to the bottom.

Really, seems there have been quite a lot of 787 bids to SFO and LAX in recent bids. What exactly is going to be "addressed?"

I'd be the last to be right, but if I remember correctly they didn't do any back filling on the West Coast 777 during the last bid. Lots of 777 guys jumped over to the 787.
