Congrats to everyone in the class, and for your CJO at United. Would anyone like to set up a time to meet somewhere for a meal and beverage the evening of the 7th? If so, please PM me and we can start the process.

There are unofficial after school activities on the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of each new-hire classes first week.

Thanks, Larry in TN.

I have not received the email with schedule details yet. I know the travel day and what days we will be training and have off, but no details regarding that evening of arrival, or about the following evenings. Your post is most helpful.

Bat,
Welcome. Enjoy your class when YOU decided to attend and it worked best for you and your situation. The extra-curricular evenings are usually fun.

Monday evening is the Cage/Marshall reception in Character's. It's for their clients who are starting class the next morning but others usually join in.

You'll find out about Tue and Wed night once you arrive.

And, as always, GStB!

Lots of Displacement discussions with 737 w/ second/third orders effects on other threads and different a/c options given to April 7th class hires, will be interesting to see what the real options are on Tuesday! See you all there.

Scooter,
Want to share any details about the aircraft and base speculation on this thread to wrap up what you've been gathering?

Bat

Bat,

I have only been watching the comparison between the first post of what folks are "planning" on and the difference in how the drop actually went. Several other threads in current discussion regarding the possible IAH 73 displacements and the many possible out comes of what those displaced folks may do... I think this Tuesday night will tell as we all may be re-evaluating our options depending on how far down the selection order we are.... March 31 class is a perfect example.... Recommend we all come with flexibility on our minds. GStB!
