Default April 7th Class

Offered a March 31st slot today that I couldn't quite make, so booked into the next one on April 7th. Was told to expect a pretty standard mix of 756 and 737 mostly to Newark and some 320 to Houston.

1984hrs - MQ-9/1 RPA (about 1/3 or which was IP/Evaluator time)
561hrs - F-15E WSO/Nav

Well, I met the bare mins without it or the nav time. But on Airline Apps I listed MQ-9 as "Single Engine Land-Military-Turbine". So, the extra hours may have helped with whatever point system UAL uses to initially sift applicants. I knew if I could just get invited to an interview I'd have a good chance at getting hired, so long as the interviewers didn't reflexively gag when they first saw all that MQ-9/1 time. They didn't seem to mind at all actually, and I had some pretty unique TMAAT and CRM stories that probably helped make me stand out. Plus, I managed to avoid getting motion sickness in the sim!

Come to the guppy. 756 you'll be on reserve longer, A320 is a lot of domestic hub to hub flying (and some painful days of ERW-BOS-EWR-BOS-EWR), Guppy is good mix of domestic, int'l, carib, and quick advancement. IMO, YMMV.
