I did both. Emerald coast was solid and I got a lot of good advice. I'd say Cage was more valuable though with the face to face, 2 on one experience. Plus one lady used to do interviews for UA. Her name was DeeDee I think.

Sorry for bombing this post, but Im looking to talk to a UAL pilot about life there. Im at Jblue at 5 year mark and seeking life elsewhere. UAL has always been my target, but I got comfortable here.
Thanks for any response.

I will echo the the comments about cage and DeeDee. Can't go wrong, especially if prepping for a United interview.

Not much to consider there. In the current timeframe (future is never predicatable), do you want to fly your own metal, widebody aircraft international, or do you want to have a middle eastern airline have their pilots fly it while you stay flying your narrowbody or large RJ?

And do you really think you are going to get widebody flying when a ME carrier who is subsidized by its government to the point of making a profit is not an issue and that airline is an option to joint venture/codeshare with. Who do you think your management will pick?

Coming up on my year anniversary of failing the hogan. Have many people gotten the chance to take it again close to the one year mark?
