My neighbor had to change to CVS from Express Scripts this last year- he is very dis-satisfied with them.
Would you care to expand on the drug stuff. Is he having problems with approval or trying to get the doctors to opt for a drug that they feel is better because it's cheaper.

Some of the maintenance drugs can be expensive and Express Scripts does a good job of approval and not trying to overrule the doctors. This could be a problem for many that have a family member that needs expensive maintenance drugs.

I'm retired...that's called "fixed income" for you working people.

I expect a substantial premium increase on my supplemental and a carrier and drug coverage change. That doesn't mention what will likely happen to my medicare A and B premium, nor my wife's continual coverage under the United group plan.

If I choose to be charitable, I will do so individually and will continue to oppose the federal government mandating it.

The inability to afford medical insurance is unfortunate. However, medicine and insurance are businesses, they are not "rights."

Now go stick it.

On the amount over the threshold. Not the whole value. But good job of making it sound scary.

I don't need to make it sound scary. Your boy Barry does a good enough job by himself...I hope you're enjoying your hope and change....

Doesn't matter. It's still a 40% tax on a portion of my compensation.

Common Terrain, just think of all the law-abiding, society contributing citizens your helping with this superb job of wealth re-distribution. How emotionally satisfying right? Or not...

Medicare Advantage, Medicare Advantage Plans - Aetna Medicare

You can keep AETNA. You would have thought deregulation would have had a greater impact on insurance coverage and cost, but being retired - you have choices !!!
