The 90's hire pilots (God's Special Pilots) are pretty good entertainment on these forums. After reading "Flying the Line Volume II" they are all enlightened as if they were here at the time. They should be thankful they were never in a position to make a decision to scab. Talk is cheap.

I will see you on the line on the west coast and we can chew the fat about anything that bugs you. Also, I always buy.

Just layoff assuming everyone is a scab because they are tired of the ALPA rhetoric, it's getting a little old.
I will take you at your word and please accept my sincerest apology about the inference.

The 'ALPA is the root of all evil' rant is extremely indicative of 84 hire stank. I have to ignore that lecture just about every time I go to work. And blank offers to buy the first round by those individuals are always met by me with a satisfying slam click.

Sincerely,
Extremely Entitled Noughty Hire
If I was on the the SCABcab I would be doing the exact same

I'm married so I have the well-developed skill of zoning my ears out for HOURS at a time - lol

Uh huuu. 787 Capt??

We are a democratic representation. WE, meaning, ALPA, are only as good as your participation in the process. If you feel ALPA is not doing your vision, get involved. Do the work, volunteer. If you do participate, good on ya, you have every right to complain. If you do not participate, you enable a small minority to dominate the process and lose the right to complain and be heard.

Oh, and also, enforce your contract, insist on it!

Is this entire contract extension just management trying to put our negotiations 180 degrees out of sync with Delta's.

His comment made me chuckle too.

About as bad as the UAL pilot that ranted about an ALPA national meeting where he cried that a "20 something pimple faced kid from a regional" was getting more attention than he was from Prater.

Ha ha.......

He was probably in a huff after getting kicked off the express jumpseat by that pimply faced kid a few times.

Absolutely volunteer! I have a lot of respect for all those ALPA pilots who give up time with their family, ruin their personal lives to help make this a better place for the rest of the rank and file. I have never volunteered my time but have always supported ALPA and recognized they are the ones that have made my life easier - except when ALPA National was gumming up the works during our last negotiations. To be honest, I was ready to throw them off the property and vote for an in-house union; but all that is behind us now.

Should be proud of that pimply faced kid with the courage to attend and speak up at a national meeting.

Btw, he could have been older. Adult acne is a real thing!!
