my commute is 3.5 to 4.5 hours depending on the season and the direction of flight

That is until their next TA offers 25% pay increases if they give up scope for the e190s. You never know what they have planned.

True, anything is negotiable......but highly doubtful given the current state of the industry and lessons learned via previous relaxation of scope.

there are A319-132 and -133's coming from China and the Reg numbers will Start at N856UA. these are higher MGWT and a higher power tthan our -131's but they'll have some differences due to added equipment required by the FAA that the Chinese CAA does not require. There are only a handful of the 50 available with Solid N Numbers assigned so far that I know of. But!!
Time will tell when we see the actual condition of the airplanes !!

I stand corrected, they're all A319-132's it appears. A little heavier and a little more power than our -131's the list is bigger than this but not all of the N numbers and nose numbers have been assigned, I have no Idea what the total Number will actually be.
It seems like a lot of airplanes owing to the 737-900's on order and the 737Max airplanes on order. Not to mention the Rumored
E190's or E195's to come. it's going to be a "Wing Ding Doodle" around WHQ.. I can only guess what it might be at DENTK..

Those seats are comfortable to you?? Really?!? Though actually Econ Plus is tolerable. ORD-SFO or ORD-SMF..
which is all I've flown in a couple of years..

Let's put it this way, I'v been commuting for 10 years mostly on UA. The new slim line seats are not any more comfortable or any less comfortable than any other seat I have sat in. Maybe my expectations are not very high, set your expectations low and you will never be dissapointed. Coach is miserable and the cramming they do aft of ECON plus should be illegal but the seat is fine.

Thanks for the info on the tail numbers!! Hopefully we can fill in the rest of your list with airframes.

Nice bit of work. Any chance of dates associated with those nose numbers? Just curious.

Those things are torture devices. My seat mate was was moving all 4 hours trying to find a good position. The arm rests are way too low for a normal person and the plastic seat frame jams into your knees if you sit in a position where you can place your arms on the armrest. I miss the days of the blue thick cloth padded seats on United, it was like sitting on one of those 90s lazyboys.

Boo-hoo! The slim line seats save a considerable amount of weight while allowing more seats to be installed. What airline is going to pass that up? They are the new standard in the industry. To go with a bulky alternative simply doesn't make sense from a competitive standpoint. Accept the new reality and move on -- or quit commuting.
