No I can't. That's why it's being monitized now.

Nope. That's why you guys need to investigate monetizing as a contract item if enough are interested.

I seriously doubt enough are. I don't know many sUAL who have more than maybe 250 hrs if they never had an issues. We lost our OSL a while back with no rollover. And anyone hired post merger is lucky to have enough SL to cover the couple calls they make per year for not flying with a head cold.

The second furlough got a little too close. So I just went ahead an leveled off the ol' sl balance where it was.... It hovers around that number today.

I believe Delta pilots have their sick bank reset to 200 hours annually...

200 minus the 60 we receive equals 140 potential pay hours per year....
What's that ... over $28,000 dollars for a 12 year captain....

Unfortunately, those calculations aren't in the Delta snap up...

And... If you say.. "Hardly anybody uses 200 hours" ... Try talking to some of the LTD guys ....

Yup, it seems my illnesses oddly fall five in a rolling 12 month window.

While true (it's even a little more for the over 20yrs crowd), 100 hours of that is "unverified" time and the second 1/2 can be sick note requested by the company.

Problem Delta has is that the whole group is reset on 1 JUN annually so of course May tends to be the sickest month. Mgmt would help themselves IMO if they just went to a refill on your individual DOH rather than company wide standard date.

50 to 270 hours depending on length of service.
