Ok folks, classes have not been "cancelled" but rather the schedule is rather fluid and they are constantly shuffling the deck to match sim availability, staffing, and other considerations. I have not done the math but I'd wager for every class that has been "cancelled" (cough) this year another has been added. We have seen this already this month with two classes scheduled when an earlier plan only had one per month during the summer.
This whole thing took on a life of its own on APC (and nowhere else) after a small class was filled with returning pilots and since there were no new hires in the class somebody proclaimed that the class was "cancelled." With all due respect to folks waiting for a class, returning pilots have first dibs on class dates.
In the fall there is currently 2 per month scheduled.

If you have to wait a bit for a class date, trust me it'll be worth it.

Question...
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I finally submitted my app about a week ago and was wondering if anyone had any guesses as to the timeline of when one may get a call for an interview (assuming one meets all requirements, of course). I'm guessing with the flurry of activity I could be waiting 12 months? Thoughts? Guesses? Snarky replies?

it is controlled by a standard aviation avionics box like all other boxes on airplanes.
1. information goes in (in this case, everyone's application)
2. magic happens (in this case, number crunching based on some fantastic formulas derived by two guys in a bar)
3. the output is generated ( in this case, the next set of interview invites.)
God lives in the box so don't "f___" with it!
