I was expecting it to be a little bigger but still nice sized. There will be something for everyone here.

The 777 CA growth is dang near 1-1 VS retirements. So this is not the growth bid yet for the 777-300ER

756 CA is also a retirement bid net is -2 on the fleet

The GUM FO spots are interesting.

They are barely treading water in the 777 training. I don't think they have the capacity to make this bid any bigger.

We are currently overstaffed on the 787 thats why they put out a vacation bid a couple weeks ago for summer vacation on the 787 only. After we get the 2 new 787s in July we don't get anymore until DEC of 17'. My guess is the 787 will only see backfills and 1-1 retirement replacement until this time next year. The MIN/MAX numbers are identical so there will be backfills.

Not sure if the company will be able to wait until they start bumping 747 folks out of SFO, before advertising more 787 bids. But if you think it was interesting how many ORD guys/gals went to the 787, just wait until the bumps hit the West Coast.

Ironically, they have been senior manning on the 747 recently, so I don't think any of the recent displaced folks will go to training too quickly. Plus, the bulletin shows that they have no overstaffing in SFO on the 747 currently, so anybody that leaves voluntarily now will have to be backfilled.

A dying fleet with backfills, man things must be moving fast around here!!!

The current Den 737 CA/FO count is 204/184 and the min is 135/138 respectively. Still might be some backfills like you said but they'd have to lose a lot of guys before they have to. Min for Denver 320 CA/FO is 137/146 so it looks like they want about the same amount of the flying done by 320's as 737's in Denver. They just displaced Denver Airbus Captains, now they need more... Good to see Denver Captain vacancies though.
