Screen shot your pay! Early and often.
Screenshot your pay! Then don't give up on a pay claim with the first denial.
I was SRM'd for a two-day which conflicted with a 4-day. Screen shots before and after phone call. The 4 day was pay protected and I didn't have to fly it. (Good deal undoubtably. Need to hire more pilots) When I called crew scheduling to change the deadhead home to a fake, they dropped my pay by two hours due to the LPV dropping and PTC now becoming controlling?? I filed a pay claim and it was denied the next day with an explanation of what LPV and PTC was. I was told they did Anthony audit and dropped my pay by 3 hours now! I refiled asking them for an email address so I could send them my screenshots of my pay register. They then said sorry, you were right. Pay was restored to prior to calling crew scheduling to change deadhead to a fake.
Lesson learned I thought I'd share.

Last email from Council 34 indicated that that would be an incredibly bad idea as one of our guys just sent OM a rant-filled email and got pulled offline and almost subjected to a psyche eval for it.

Was offered 150% VDO pay in a VM. Contacted them and accepted. After trip, extra pay removed. Called and they reinstated. Crew pay reviews it and takes it away again. I make an audio file of the VM and email it to them. They again deny saying "yes it was offered but it shouldn't have been"! Sent it all to CP who directs it be paid. Can't make this up.

Where does the extra hour of pay show up for the required "Smisek" training we had to complete? I'm not seeing it on my pay register and thought it would show up in the pay credit for the month the training was completed

A guy did that to Smisek. The only way he was able to get his job back was by going through the HIMS program.

ALPA has not been speaking for us.
Send it to OM.

I would suggest everyone go to the app store and download the EZCCS app to your Iphone if that's what you have. If you go to "Pay related" then "pay register" and touch the green box for the current month, the app will automatically log into CCS download all 8 pages or whatever of your pay register and save it in a folder in the app with a time stamp so you can keep track of where you lost/gained pay with any changes. Every time something in my schedule changes, I use the app to download and save my pay register so I can compare the before and after to see what changed. They've tried to screw me out of a LOT of pay over the past 6 months and I've been able to fight and get paid what I was owed because I had the documentation to track what was happening.
