Good luck!

Thanks, I have a few internal recommendation, maybe that helped when they looked at my airlineapp? Seems it still good getting a day 1 offer, maybe it will give you points and get your app scored. Good luck, I think this is great that United is doing this.

I got the invite for Thur 0900-1300 session. Any recommendations on where to stay close to site? I'm flying in from the East Coast day prior.

Retiring AF, 4900 TT, 3000+ PIC with April '17 availability.

Red roof in SFO airport is the cheapest and has a tasty diner. The doubetree next door is nice, westin, aloft, embassy suites has free cocktails and hot fresh breakfast.

Does anyone have insight into how many invites went out for each day? I'm assuming they'll backfill the spots if people can't attend. I'm just curious how big this event will be.

Not sure about each day specifically, but someone posted on The Pilot Network on FB that about 700 people total were invited to both days.

I just got my pool letter from Brown, which is my #1. So I politely removed myself from the event, hopefully they will invite someone else.

Best of luck to all my fellow veterans. If I was King you'd all go to the front of the line.

Has anyone received any late invitations as people cancel?

Hope you made the right choice - we won't know until we are retired anyways though lol - good luck.

Just got the update email about the event. The email says that the two days "have slightly different agendas but everyone..." I'm just wondering if dropping $1K+ to attend Day 1 is really going to be worth it? Anyone else been thinking about this? Anyone have any info on what Day 1 vs Day 2 is going to do for attendees?
