Second day Veteran Event guy here. I was given a CJO in March and just missed the last training class in May....swam in the pool as long as I could stand it...then accepted a job with Delta. I highly doubt there are many left in the hiring pool. Ironically, I received an email yesterday from United telling me to expect a late Nov training class.....sorry United, like many others in the pool, I have moved on to a company that gives me more confidence they know how to plan for the future...best of luck to all of you.

Congrats on the new gig, and I don’t blame you for hopping over to DAL and never looking back. But I wouldn’t drink all of that DAL kookaid just yet. They’ve got a firm and imminent order for 75 airplanes that have a 300% tariff that they won’t pay. That’s a LOT of pilot positions that they are staffing for. You may see DAL slam their hiring door here shortly. Sounds an AWFUL lot like a certain other airline that had a 65 airplane 737 order that they deferred resulting in a glut of pilots......

Wish you the best. Doesn’t matter where you are though, it’s going to be a bumpy ride so strap in!

United hires prior enlisted. It's been a great ride for me; Honorably Discharged USMC 1973 - E4 Corporal. Now I'm months away from retirement at UAL after nearly 32 years. Not bad for a former Marine Corporal Eh! Semper Fi!

This gives me hope, got out in ‘13 as an E-6, Ranger School grad. Not sure if that checks the “leadership” box or means much to the recruiting team.

Day one guy here. Interview in late April. Got the CJO. Just received the invite for drug testing which should precede a class date. There is hope.

Remember that BK was prior enlisted as well, so I believe it will definitely "mean something."

Only after the Navy/Marine Corps have cleared the way and then left.

Good to know! I’ve always kicked myself for not doing college and ROTC, from cruising the forums most mil guys seem to have flight experience. Glad us grunts are appreciated too!
