Anyone know if it's possible to hold DEN out of training?

No it will take maybe 1 year or 2 depending on the aircraft you are on.

Or 1 or 2 months. Or 1 or 2 decades. Everything changes all the time. The current situation has very little very little validity to the situation tomorrow.

Friend of mine from Indoc just bid into DEN - will have taken roughly 21-22 months from his hire date.

For those in the Denver area, is there a popular AME that you use?

Unfortunately no WBs at DEN so if you wanted to bid WB for the pay bump you are now commuting to reserve.

Also keep in mind there are ALOT of WB commuters out of Denver that you'll be competing for the JS with.

Bid SFO! Tahoe has some of the best skiing outside Colorado and SFO goes junior!

the junior man is about 500 senior to the 8-ball pilot on property... so it will be awhile. Denver is an interesting animal; now that the base is stabilizing a bit and NB flying has grown a bit there... you might luck out and see a larger late fall or early spring bid that might allow some younger pilots to transfer to DEN... just takes time.
